Purdy Historic Motorcycles was formed by two brothers having a vision to create bespoke English motorcycles using their 50 years of experience in traditional engineering skills. Passion and inspiration is achieved through their love of creative engineering and further enhanced by their traditional barn style workshop location, set in the heart of rural Buckinghamshire.
The first creations have been named as Purdy Bullitts, which have been completed incorporating a high level of design, craftsmanship, and performance .engineering. The PB’s have been based on the 1952 Triumph T100 using many original parts, Aluminium engine, Amal carburation, Avon tyres, Brown & Barlow slide throttle, & Smiths chronometric speedometer.
The composition of parts are carefully crafted in their raw form and assembled piece by piece creating the style and look accomplished. Thousand’s of hours are spent paying attention to fine detail and high level finishing. All components have been developed and manufactured in house using varying high quality materials, with the exception of the leather seat & toolbox.
